Life

My mom always knows when it's time to schedule for classes again each semester.

That's strange. How does she know this?

Because I go through a quarter-life crisis EVERY TIME!

Gaahhh!!!!

Life is so unpredictable, but I love planning for it anyways. I'm in the process of figuring out a five-year plan; hopefully it will all turn out well :-)

Aaannnnnnddd because posts are boring without photos, here is one of my fav swanky hotels (where I got to stay after finals!)...

..and here is how I spent the first night back in my apartment after vacation!

Time for Bed

This is the exact copy of an email I sent to my parents late one evening.

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know the expression high on life????!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it MAY just be possible to overdose.

On life.

yes.

WWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. I am COMPLETELY sober as I write this, though am now realizing the hour and that I should probably hit the hay as I am teaching Pilates, Gravity, and Zumba tomorrow. And I want to take Yoga and TRX, but sadly will only have time for one :(

....and I'm still sore from last week.....

BUT!!!!! Today! I was going to teach Gravity BUT no one showed! Bummer. Right? wrong. I got paid for half an hour (5 bucks- score!) AND!!!!!!! got to take the best yoga class I've been to since Catie's. Oh yes. Then I almost did a shoulder stand in the apartment but ended up falling a lot a lot. But that's okay. I'll practice more!!!!!

I hope you love my random ramblings as much as I love you guys!

This may need to be a blog post as well as an email. We'll see.

Disney's Hollywood Studios Grapefruit Cake

This is one of the desserts that we ate on our trip to Disney World at the Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant.

I followed this recipe exactly, except I used 1 1/3 cups regular flour and sifted the dry ingredients together four times.

The only problem making it was that our oven cooked it unevenly..... half the cake was perfect and the other half was left in a pudding state of underdone cake-y goodness. Ah well! At least it looks and tastes yummy.

Perfect Roast Chicken- thanks Jamie Oliver!

I followed his recipe to the letter (you can find it here).

We also had his roasted carrots and parsnips, and my risotto!
